Home cooked

While traveling over the past few years, I have spent a good chunk of time in the home kitchens of friends, prepping food, communing over coffee, not worrying about mess and concerned only about the company and a good meal. I love the landscapes created in the midst of cooking, monuments to a well-savored meal, tributes to everyday living, an impromptu still-life created out of a mundane act.  This is food in real life. This is Home Cooked.
